Workshop Presentation

Today in our workshop we had to make a group presentation. We had 5 days to think of an idea for a  BBC Film or a Channel 4 day time programme. My group thought that the brief would allow a documentary style one hour long documentary film called Mayfly. the concept was that three terminally ill teenagers would be filmed for three months each fulfilling wishes that they wanted to do for example go on a holiday or several day trips. We had to work out how it would be filmed why it was a good idea and other information that would be needed to make a pitch.

Before we did the presentation I was slightly nervous but managing to say what i needed to clearly and calmly. When it came to actually making the presentation this changed dramatically. I was showing the worst nerves I had ever had and to think I had done much more nerve-racking  presentations than this one before.

Once the presentation had finished our assessor told us we had not met the brief and that they didn't accept documentary films on the brief which we felt had not been clarified.
